Director of Facilities - Healthcare

The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property for 3 locations. Manages the day to day operations and support for 3 complete facility operations Manages the preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades, e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities Hires, trains and supervises staff, professionals and management Manages a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business Leads a team of 30+ people working 3 shifts in a union environment Initiates the development and implementation of an annual budget Recommends improvement of facilities, including construction or renovation of structures and purchase of new equipment. Inspects facility on periodic basis noting items in need of repair or replacement; or in need of new fixtures and equipment. Orders and is responsible for the maintenance of all tools, materials, equipment utilized by the Engineering & Maintenance Department Resolves problems with department heads concerning such items as staffing, utilization of facilities and equipment and supplies. Assumes the responsibility of the facility on a 24- hour basis. Required: BA or BS degree, MBA preferred Union management and healthcare environment experience A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by results and accomplishments At least 5 - 10 years progressive experience in supervision and maintenance in installation, blueprints, specifications, manuals, reports, boilers, and generators Able to organize and implement an effective maintenance program. Knowledge of all State, City, and regulatory agency code requirements A strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC Focused customer service, relationship building and communication skills Experience working with outside vendors and subcontractors Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building Financial acumen and budget management experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
