Responsibilities: We are looking for a candidate who is motivated to learn about new systems, must be a self starter and should be able to perform day to day activities with minimal supervision. Below are the primary job duties, this may vary based on Management's requirements.
End user support, troubleshooting and training
All revenue cycle applications management (BAR, AP, GL, HIM, ABS, ADM, SCA, ARM, MRI; 3M)
Project coordination
Special/Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in IT or Finance
2 years experience in Healthcare IT
Knowledge of billing, claims, denials processing, clinical documentation, specificity, coding, abstracting, groupers, etc.
Ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects, with strong prioritization skills.
Ability to provide formal and informal technology teaching
Self direction in utilizing resources to meet objectives.
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred
Experience:
Masters degree in Finance
Prior experience in implementing and supporting coding and abstracting applications such as 3M.
Prior experience in Meditech 6.x or CSEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
