57The clinical staff pharmacist is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe,effective, and prompt medication therapy.
Through various assignments within the department, theclinical staff pharmacist will provide support of centralized and decentralized medication-use systems aswell as deliver optimal medication therapy to patients with a broad range of disease states.
The clinicalstaff pharmacist will be proficient in providing direct patient-centered care and integrated pharmacyoperational services in decentralized practice settings such as the emergency department, critical careunits, and general medicine or surgical floors working alongside physicians, nurses, and other hospitalpersonnel.
In addition, the clinical staff pharmacist will provide medication education to hospital staffand serve as preceptors for doctor of pharmacy students and pharmacy residents.
Daily participation inquality improvement initiatives such as transitions of care, population health, and antibiotic stewardshipis expected.

Graduate from an approved School of Pharmacy.
Must possess current license to practice as registered pharmacist in N.
Y.
SMust fulfill NY State required continuing education for pharmacist.
Completion of 1 year Pharmacy internship.
Ability to bend, stretch, and reach necessary for handling/fingering labels, vials, and apparatus used for compounding medications.
Verbal ability is needed to interpret and and understand written prescriptions, formularies, and reference texts, as well as for presenting data and information on pharmaceuticals to physicians, staff and public.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy with Doctor of Pharmacy degreeCompletion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy ResidencyAbout the Company:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
